Baked Pizza Mac


I found this recipe in the Kraft Food & Family magazine.

Baked Pizza Mac

1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce, divided
1 pkg Kraft Mac & Cheese, prepared as directed
1 lb. ground beef, cooked, divided
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Set aside 1/4 cup of pizza sauce. Combine prepared mac & cheese, 2/3 of the meat, remaining pizza sauce, egg and garlic powder.

Spoon into 9 in. pie plate. Top with remaining meat, 1/4 cup pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Bake 15 min. at 400. Let stand 5 min.

4 servings. 1 1/2 cup each.

We served with salad, raw carrots and pears.

Our Review: This will go into our recipe box. It was easy and tasty. It won't be one I cook all the time but it was a nice change up and it used a family favorite, mac & cheese. Brooke ate and liked it but Lexy wouldn't try it (she didn't want everything mixed together).
